What is a serious cause for IELTS test cancelation? component changed @15:50
For the purpose of cancelling or rescheduling an IELTS exam, serious causes include:
Serious illness such as a hospital visit or injury that prevented you from taking the test. To prove a serious illness, you must present Hospital record(s) that clearly shows the illness prevented you from attending the test. A general doctor’s note from Walk-In visits will not be considered.
Loss or bereavement such as the death of a family member. Requires a death certificate.
Hardship/ Trauma such as a traffic accident or crime. Requires a police report.
Military Service. Requires an official letter from your country’s government.
What can I expect on test day??????
Details of the test will be shared with you in your payment confirmation email. For testing on paper, the speaking test may be scheduled up to seven days prior to or after the written exam. You will receive an email from our team up to five days prior to the test confirming the speaking test time.
You will need to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to each test. Candidates will not be allowed in the test until 10 minutes prior to the scheduled test time.
Personal items are not allowed in the test room. This includes jackets/bulky clothes, wallets, keys, watches, phones, hats, etc. The only items allowed in the test room are a clear bottle of water and the original ID you have registered with.
The written components of the test will take approximately three hours. The speaking test will take approximately 20 minutes.
What is IELTS One Skill Retake (OSR)?
IELTS One Skill Retake allows you to retake one of the four skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking) if you need to improve in just one area. We know most test takers get the scores they need first time, but if you feel you haven’t performed to your best in one area, IELTS One Skill Retake can help you get back on track.

When you request a remark, your IELTS test will be remarked by an experienced senior IELTS examiner who is not aware of the original marks awarded for each part - Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking. Your test centre is then notified of the remarked result and if the mark has changed, you will receive a new Test Report Form (TRF).
When should I apply for a remark of my IELTS test (Enquiry on Results)?
