IELTS for UKVI is a form of IELTS test approved by the British government, this test can prove a candidate's language ability when applying to the UK Visas and Residences (UKVI) for studying or immigration purposes. At the IELTS IDP test site in Hanoi, the UKVI IELTS test is held twice a month.

The IELTS UKVI exam allows candidates to choose between two types for different purposes. While the first format – IELTS UKVI Academic is designed for candidates who plan to study at the undergraduate, postgraduate or start their career in the UK. The second form of test – IELTS UKVI General Training is for immigration of study in high school, college in the UK.
